The first semi-finals showed that this year's Eurovision will remain at a high musical and artistic level. 8 countries competed for the final on May 19, of which only 10 could qualify. Some of the results surprised us, but each of the songs selected by viewers deserves a place in the final on Saturday. Let's just remind that Poland is represented by Gromee and Lukas Meijer with the song "Light me up". They will apply for promotion on Thursday, May 10.

See how the Polish qualifiers for Eurovision were conducted.

Very good performances, interesting songs

The Czech Republic has proposed an interesting musical proposal this year. They are represented by Mikolas Josef with the song "Lie to me". According to commentators, the style is a modern version of the works of Justine Timberlake, who celebrated his greatest successes a decade ago. The song "Toy", performed by Netta Berzilai, who represents Israel, is nonetheless modern.

Aria performed by Estonia, musical Austria

The performance of the Estonian representative was at a high artistic and vocal level. Elina Nechayeva performed the piece "La Forza", which stylistically referred to opera arias, but in a modern performance. Austria, represented by Cesar Sampson, also has a chance to fight for victory. He performs the song "Nobody like you", and the artist has an amazing stage play.

Other finalists

The following also qualified for the finals: Cyprus (Eleni Foureira with the song "Fuego"), Lithuania (Ieva Zasimauskaite with the song "When we're old"), Bulgaria (Equinox with the song "Bones"), Finland (Saara Aalto with the song "Monsters" ), Albania (Eugent Bushpepa with "Mall") and Ireland (Ryan O'Shaughnessy with "Together"). Countries such as Croatia, Belgium, Macedonia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Greece, Iceland, Armenia and Switzerland dropped out of the semi-finals.
