It is said that the face, hands and neck are three places that can reveal our age very quickly. As we know, we all want to look young, healthy and natural. Facefitness comes to the rescue.

Facial wrinkles

Solar radiation, genes, hormones, the influence of the passage of time, bone and fat loss are factors that no one can protect against. The aging of the skin is a stage that will not be missed by anyone, the first signs of its appearance may appear as early as the age of 25. Over the years, our skin loses the amount of hyaluronic acid, and collagen and elastin are degraded. Nobody likes wrinkles, so how to deal with them when we do not have the funds for expensive treatments?

Botox and fillers

There are many treatments around us that promise to improve the condition of our skin after the first visit. Paralyzing wrinkles with botulinum toxin or filling them with fillers are treatments that not everyone can afford. Unfortunately, you can quickly become addicted to these treatments, because each of them works "for a moment", so in order for the effect to stay with us for longer, we have to repeat them systematically. Additionally, you should remember that these methods cause muscle paralysis, and we want to strengthen it.

Fitness of the face

Fortunately, facial fitness, the so-called Facefitness, comes to the rescue. We all know that people who play sports are physically active and can boast of better skin condition. It is firm, tight and looks younger. Following this idea, Patrycja Kondracka, a PhD student at the Faculty of Physiotherapy at the University of Physical Education in Wrocław, decided to delve into the subject of facial fitness.

Personal experiences

It often happens that the best ideas come when life creates a need in us. In the case of Ms Patrycja it was a family situation. 10 years ago, one of the relatives of the PhD student, as we can read on the VOGUE website, suffered paralysis of the facial muscle. This event was the motivation of Ms. Patrycja to undertake her own rehabilitation on the paralyzed face of a family member. The knowledge that the doctoral student possessed meant that she created a set of exercises that she also tried on her own face. During treatment, it turned out that the paralyzed right side saw an improvement in skin quality.

Exercise

With any training, in order to see results, it must be performed regularly and in accordance with the recommendations. In the case of Facefitness, you need to train 10 minutes a day for 30 days to see the first results. However, you must remember that this is not Botox and these exercises will not bring us spectacular changes, at least not immediately. Mrs. Patrycja is the author of the book "The Secret of Youth - Facefitess" where we can read step by step what facial training looks like.
