There will be many events in Norway this weekend. Most of them are dedicated to the celebration of the 11th anniversary of Poland regaining its independence. Our Radio Wataha also takes part in two actions related to November XNUMX.

As Radio Wataha, we join the action entitled Independent of the anthem! On Sunday, November 11, at 12 p.m., the Polish anthem will sound on our air - as in many places around the world. This is an officially reported event that you will find, among others on government side.

We are also joining the #likePolska campaign. The goal of the #likePolska campaign is to present everything for which you can love our homeland. The subject matter is free: rich history, charming places, culture, tradition, customs and achievements of Poles. Therefore, on Sunday, we will publish our original photo, which will present one of our favorite places!

Independence in Fredrikstad
The celebrations of the 100th anniversary of Independence in Stavanger promise to be interesting. As every year, there will be a ceremonial academy for this special day. Contrary to previous years, this time everything will last for 2 days. After all, it is not every day that we have the opportunity to celebrate the hundredth anniversary of an independent and sovereign state.

Happening in Norway - Christmas in Polish
For Independence Day, Polish Scouting in Norway has prepared an event that aims to present Polish culture. The plan envisages, inter alia, gingerbread baking and decorating workshops, Christmas tree decorations, quiz for children, tasting Christmas Eve dishes, a nativity scene inspired by the church from Gol, Christmas carols performed by the Sursum Corda group.
