How to notify Arbeidstilsynet?

What is Arbeidstilsynet NEVER  takes?

It is worth knowing not only about how to notify Arbeidstilsynet. It is equally important to be aware of what matters the Labor Inspectorate has to deal with nie it takes. These are mainly disputes that should be settled in court and concern:

  • no remuneration,
  • lack of holidaypenger,
  • the amount of remuneration when no collective agreements have been signed in the workplace or it is not a covered industry minimum wage,
  • unjustified termination of the employment contract,
  • holiday entitlement or entitlement to holiday entitlement.

The Norwegian Labor Inspection Authority also informs that it does not deal with the following matters that should be reported to other entities:

  • cases of work without a contract should be reported to the Tax Office,
  • cases of trafficking in human beings or crime in the workplace should be reported to the police,
  • disputes arising from sickness benefit payments should be reported to NAV,
  • cases of poor quality food or poor animal health should be reported to the Norwegian Food Safety Administration,
  • cases of poor-quality medical services or education should be reported to the supervisory body, e.g. the governor of a given district,
  • if there is, for example, a construction site emitting a lot of noise in your immediate vicinity, you should report the matter to the appropriate commune.

How to notify Arbeidstilsynet?

The form requires us to provide such information as, among others: company name, description of irregularities, persons and authorities that have already been notified, as well as their contact details.
