The coronavirus pandemic has led to an increased workload for accountants and auditors. The Ministry of Finance therefore allows entrepreneurs to apply for an extended deadline for submitting tax returns property and income tax. (formues- og inntektsskatt) until August 20, 2021. The same applies to entrepreneurs who do not apply for a deferred deadline and submit a tax return after the 31 May deadline.
In the event of a delay in paying VAT, late payment interest will be charged.
