Norway is beautiful, and it doesn't need much advertising. Anyone who has been to Norway at least once knows that you can fall into delight practically at every turn of the road behind which there is almost always a beautiful view.
Briksdalsbreen, Stryn, Sogn and Fjordane
The glacier is part of the Jostedalsbreen National Park. Here you can ride trolls to Briksdalsbreen or enjoy the views on a boat safari. Stryn is located in the inner part of Nordfjord, in an area known for its spectacular setting with glaciers, beautiful fjords and mountains. Stryn offers a wide variety of natural beauties. Here you can walk on the glacier, in the greenery and admire the beautiful dunes in one day.
Senja, Troms
Beautiful, idyllic and Norway's largest island after Hinnøya. The nature of Senja is a cross-section of Norwegian nature, from tranquil swamp landscapes to high mountains, pine forests and wooded slopes. You can experience Senja on a beautiful sea voyage on the Hurtigruten boat.
Kjeragbolten, Lysefjorden
Perhaps the most famous stone in the world. Kjeragbolten is located on
Mount Kjerag - about 1000 meters above sea level. Kjerag is a round stone that is stuck between two sides of a mountain - and you can stand on it - if you dare! Many mountain climbers and jumpers come here, but the walk to the destination is also a bit of an adrenaline injection.
Geiranger and holidays in Norway
Spectacular views, snow-capped mountains and wild waterfalls. Geiranger is one of the most popular places in Norway, visited every year by over 700 tourists from all over the world.
In addition, Geiranger is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and recognized as the best preserved World Heritage site by the American magazine National Geographic.
Trollstigveien, Åndalsnes, Møre and Romsdal
Part of the national hiking trail that extends to the Geirangerfjord and part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Impressive road structure in which the road winds in 11 turns along steep mountain slopes. Each turn has a name, often named after the foreman of the construction team who built the turn. You can also admire Trollvegen at the back of Trollstigen. You shouldn't be afraid of heights here!
Ålesund Holidays in Norway
It is said that you have to keep looking up in Ålesund. It is a city where mountains and fjords meet the sea. A must see is the Art Nouveau style that Ålesund is famous for, or take a trip to the majestic Sunnmørsalpene.
