This edition of the League of Nations was unlike any other. It was related to the ongoing coronavirus epidemic. For this reason, the event was distinguished by the character of a monthly tournament. There were lots of emotions. The win against Slovenia gave us a pass to the final. However, we lost to Brazil, ultimately winning the Silver Medal!

It was very close - unfortunately it failed. We are losing 1: 3 to Brazil. The emotions, however, were at a great level. After all, it cannot be denied that this final event was about two very good teams. The advantage in this first set was won by Michał Kubiak.
The fight to win lasted until the end ...
Mateusz Boniek had problems with his hand at the beginning of the next set. A doctor's intervention was necessary. Lucarelli's ace made our rivals take the lead. The third set was marked by the brilliant attacks of the Brazilians. The next minutes and the successive actions of the Brazilians gave them incredible power. Determined, they ended this meeting with a victory. The Poles were no longer able to make up for the loss.
“The beginning of the next game for Poles was bad (4: 7). Vital Heynen stopped the game and his volleyball players made up for the losses (7: 7). Each won action of the Brazilians was very much celebrated by them and fueled the team (11: 8). They added a strong service and it was 16:12 again. The white-and-reds did not make up for this loss. The silver medal for Poland is also an excellent result. We supported our team strongly throughout the Nations League. We watched the next matches and excellent play with great appreciation and bated breath. We are glad that Polish volleyball is such a strong and powerful sport. We know that our national team has not said the last word yet. We will hear about them again, and certainly more than once!
