We know the composition of the Polish Olympic Team for the Games of the XXXII Olympiad Tokyo 2020! In Japan, Poland will be represented by 215 athletes - 103 female and 112 female athletes, who will take part in 28 sports.

The Games of the XXXII Olympiad will begin on July 23 and end on August 8. On Tuesday, the Presidium of the POC Board and then the Board of the Polish Olympic Committee met at the Olympic Center of the Polish Olympic Committee, which unanimously approved the composition of the Polish Sports Associations, presented by Marcin Nowak - the Head of Mission. The Management Board of the Polish Olympic Committee approved - also unanimously - the Regulations of the Awards for the results obtained at the Games of the XXXII Olympiad in Tokyo 2020. The proposal was presented to the Management Board of the Polish Olympic Committee by the Secretary General of the Polish Olympic Committee - Adam Krzesiński.

Officially, the composition of the Polish Olympic Team Tokyo 2020 was presented at a press conference attended by: Andrzej Kraśnicki - President of the Polish Olympic Committee, Adam Krzesiński - Secretary General of the Polish Olympic Committee, Marcin Nowak - Head of the Olympic Mission and Prof. Piotr Gliński - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture, National Heritage and Sport, as well as Anna Krupka - Secretary of State at the Ministry of Culture, National Heritage and Sport. Members of the Polish Olympic Team Tokyo 2020 will take part in: boxing, sports gymnastics, golf, judo, horse riding, canoeing (sprint and slalom), cycling (road, track, mountain), 3 × 3 basketball, athletics, archery, modern pentathlon, swimming, weightlifting, volleyball (indoor and beach), skateboarding (skateboard), sport shooting, fencing, olympic taekwondo, tennis, table tennis, rowing, sport climbing, wrestling and sailing.
The largest part of the Polish Olympic Team Tokyo 2020 will be athletes - 64 people (+ 3 reserves), swimmers - 23 people and rowers - 20 (+ 2 reserves). The chairman of the Polish Olympic Team will be the President of the Polish Olympic Committee, Andrzej Kraśnicki, and his deputy will be Adam Krzesiński - the Secretary General of the Polish Olympic Committee. The Head of the Polish Olympic Mission Tokyo 2020 - Marcin Nowak - Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Sports Projects at the Polish Olympic Committee. The first Olympic oath took place on Wednesday at the Olympic Center of the Polish Olympic Committee. Approximately 70 people will receive appointments to the Polish Olympic Team, they will be representatives of canoeing, rowing and sailing.
Let us recall that during the Games of the XXXI Rio 2016 Olympics, Poles won 11 medals (2 gold, 3 silver and 6 bronze).
