Is AAP money income?

How many years can you receive AAP?
How long you can receive money from AAP depends on your need to pursue a work-oriented business or undergo treatment to return to work. Benefit period will therefore vary from person to person. AAP benefit is 66% of your income in the last year before you became ill, or the average of the last three years before you became ill. When can you apply for AAP money?
You can receive AAP from the moment your benefit ended sick leave. You must apply for AAP yourself in good time before your entitlement to sick pay is exercised. Generally, you must have been a member of the National Insurance Scheme for at least 5 years. You are between 18 and 67 years old. How to calculate what money you can get from AAP?
