Child benefit in Norway-Changes from September 1

From 2021, the regular family allowance for children under 6 years of age will be increased from CZK 1354 to CZK 1654.

You get CZK 300 more per month

The change means that for children under 6 years of age you receive CZK 300 more per month. NAV will not send a new letter regarding this matter. Rates of Ordinary Child Benefit for children over 6 years of age, extended family allowance and small child allowance remain unchanged. Most people will receive it on September 30 Family allowance at a new height. If you don't receive your new rate in September, you will be paid NOK 300 within October. You won't need to apply for it. This rate will be maintained until and including the month before the child turns 6 years old. At the time of reduction NAV family allowance I will send a letter.
