Allegations of reprehensible conduct by Jehovah's Witnesses will be investigated by the Attorney General in Oslo and Viken. The religious community is in danger of refusing state subsidies.

It was the Ministry of Children and Family Affairs that asked the Attorney General to initiate an investigation.
The investigation is based on allegations made by former members of the denominational criticism, including that Jehovah's Witnesses risk disfellowshipping if they vote in political elections.
