If your children catch Covid-19, you can continue to live a normal life and go to work as long as you are vaccinated and have no symptoms.

In recent weeks, there has been a sharp increase in infections among schoolchildren across the country.

Chief infection control physician Eli-Anne Skaug in Trondheim, she said Addressseavisen, that close contacts with children infected with the coronavirus should continue to be tested, but only if symptoms develop.

- If you have a child who is infected, you should pay close attention to your health for the next ten days. If symptoms of the virus occur, get tested immediately.

After the government scrapped most Covid-25 measures on September 19. Close contacts are no longer legally required to undergo testing or quarantine.

- Does this mean that the rest of the family can go to work and school as normal, even if the child in the household is infected?

- Yes, as long as they have no symptoms, replies Skaug.
