A young man who was robbed using a machete in Drammen last year was convicted in Buskerud County Court of using violence against one of the robbers.

In the spring of 2019, a 17-year-old boy was attacked in a park in Drammen and robbed. Soon after, he was offered to recover the lost things if he appeared at the Konnerud church. But instead of recovering what was stolen, he was threatened with a machete. Informs Drammens Tidende .

Three young people stayed sentenced to community service  for this robbery.

Before this verdict in the case, a few months after the robbery, the victim of the robbery and six of his companions noticed one of the robbers. They followed the 18-year-old to Drammen station. This time he was the victim, he was kicked, and violence was used against him both on the platform and later on the train.

Seven young people, including the victim of the robbery mentioned at the beginning, were convicted of violence. All admitted being present and using violence or complicity.

Six of the defendants received community service and one received a suspended prison sentence.
