"The police have entered into a dialogue with the organizer of the ceremony in Rådhusplassen in Oslo and recommend that the event be postponed," says Oslo Police Chief Beate Gangås.

- PST believes that we are still in an extraordinary threat. There has been a terrorist attack and there is an unresolved threat, says Police Director Benedicte Bjørnland.

- Based on information from the PST and the fact that the queer community is part of a hostile image for extreme Islamists. Police strongly recommend that today's Oslo Pride event be postponed. Additionally, any other Pride Oslo events elsewhere in the country are considered to be postponed until further notice, says Bjørnland.
