Norway donates armored patrol vehicles to Ukraine

add to Favorites

Norway handed over 14 IVECO LAV III Armored Patrol Vehicles to Ukraine. These vehicles have good mobility and protection and are of the same type as the Norwegian forces used in Afghanistan.

Such vehicles are wanted by the Ukrainian authorities. They complement other military equipment such as artillery, MANPADS and APCs that Norway has already donated to Ukraine.

- Norway continues to contribute to the Ukrainians' fight for freedom. The government is constantly evaluating how Norway can provide Ukraine with further support in defending the country from the Russian invasion, says Defense Minister Bjørn Arild Gram.

Norway provided support to Ukraine

As we wrote earlier, Norway gave Ukraine support in the form of M109 artillery with equipment and spare parts and ammunition. Armed forces personnel trained Ukrainian soldiers in the use and maintenance of this equipment.
