Yoga has many faces and is becoming more and more popular these days. People find what they need in it, even though everyone is looking for something different. What's her secret?
Yoga can be just a set of physical exercises for the practitioner (both strengthening the body and stretching), a way to get to know your own body, an escape from everyday life, as well as a way to calm your mind and look inside yourself.
The variety of branches of yoga, as well as various teaching methods, mean that more and more people find their way in the practice. Regardless of whether they are looking for relaxation after work or additional training – certainly they will find something for themselves.
For example, yin yoga can be mentioned. It is a relatively mild form of practice where the emphasis is not on strength or endurance, but on listening to your body and knowing your limits. You stay in the positions for a long time (from 3 to 5 minutes) and although it may not seem like a lot - time flows differently when we connect with the breath and observe the sensations flowing from the body. Sounds interesting, doesn't it?
Everyone who would like to learn yoga a bit or have been practicing for some time and want to do it in a group of compatriots, I invite you to yoga in Polish!
The course, consisting of four meetings, will start on September 12 at the Bare Flyt Sagene. Each class will focus on a different type of yoga, but they will all be connected by trying to listen to your own body and breathing.
