Last Friday, students of secondary and vocational schools found out what subjects they will have exams in.
"Many of them have their first exam this spring and are probably nervous," says Morten Rosenkvist, head of the Education Directorate.

In May and early June, the first regular spring exams are held since the pandemic. Now that students have drawn their subjects, the examination period will begin for over 278 students.
“After four years, we now have full-scale exams to conduct again. It will also be the first exam for students who have gone through the new curricula in the subject reform, says Rosenkvist.
– For many students, the exam period is a stressful part of education. For us who create tasks and systems, it is important to contribute to a well-conducted and safe exam, says Rosenkvist.
It also encourages students and schools to thoroughly prepare for the exam day.
“It can be helpful for students to familiarize themselves with the sample tasks we have prepared, and most importantly, it is important to be sure of what equipment and support materials you can bring with you,” says Rosenkvist.
Many students will now take the exam in a more digital form than before.
ChatGPT decision
Due to the development of new online tools such as ChatGPT, the Directorate of Education will temporarily restrict access to the open internet during exams in certain subjects.
"This is to contribute to a fair administration of the exam this year," says Rosenkvist.
