Agreement with the Norwegian Nurses Association on the settlement of remuneration for hospitals

“Spekter is pleased to have reached an agreement with the Norwegian Nurses Association on the settlement of hospital salaries,” says Spekter Managing Director Anne-Kari Bratten.

Agreement on settlement of remuneration for hospitals

As we read on the Spekter website, the result is in line with the assumptions of the income policy for payroll settlements in Norway this year. This means, among others, that all nurses employed in hospitals are guaranteed a salary supplement of at least 5% of their salary.

“We have done our best to find a solution to avoid strikes and conflicts, but we have obtained approval for the profile and arrangement of wage allowances, which is important to the needs of the employer for the best functioning of hospitals,” says Bratten.

Increase in allowances for Saturdays and Sundays

– Spekter and hospitals are particularly pleased with the increase in allowances for Saturdays and Sundays. Thanks to TEmu, nurses working on weekends are slightly better paid. It's also good that we've created a facility that prioritizes nurses with four to eight years of experience to increase retention capacity, says Bratten.

Nurses with at least ten years of service should earn a minimum of NOK 565 from 000 May. As for specialist nurses/midwives with at least 1 years of experience, they will earn a minimum of NOK 650 from 000 October.
