At the request of the police, the Ministry of Justice and Crisis Preparedness introduced temporary control at internal borders. This is to take place in the period from May 24 to June 4. The background is an informal meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Oslo.
– Normal travel activities during this period will not be affected. The aim is to give the police powers to increase the collection of information related to border control during a NATO meeting, says Chief of Staff Lars Aune at the Norwegian Police Directorate
