The Facebook group "We who demand cheaper electricity", "Vi som krever billigere strøm", plans to organize a demonstration against the government's energy policy on Saturday 27th November.

This was confirmed by Raymond Skorstad, who is responsible for organizing nationwide electricity protests.

Protests against record high electricity prices in southern Norway have their roots in the Facebook group, which has grown to over 100 members.

Demonstrators applied to hold a protest at Eidsvolls plass on November 27. They will take the train from Jernbanetorget to the Storting, where the demonstration will begin.

– Many thousands people in Norway are affected by electricity price increases in Norway. We demand that the Storting reject the government's budget proposal electricity and adopting large reductions in electricity prices, including VAT, to make the price affordable for ordinary people, writes Skorstad in a press release.
