BG Rally Team

Our BG Rally Team: Bartłomiej Głos and Łukasz Michorczyk. Participation in the exciting Rally Sørland, which is considered one of the most difficult competitions in the Norwegian calendar, has just ended. It was an unforgettable experience full of excitement, challenges and adrenaline. The rally consisted of 6 special stages with a total length of almost 90 km, where the longest stage was 24 km. For three loops, the crew had to face difficult routes, full of bends, varied surfaces and numerous hills. Despite these difficulties, the guys are extremely happy with their debut performance and the fact that they managed to reach the finish line safely and undamaged. This is especially important considering the number of crews that failed to finish the rally.

. There is no time to rest!

The team is already focused on preparing for their next start. The car is currently undergoing a basic service, as well as minor repairs and modifications that will help adapt the vehicle even better to the Norwegian sections. Driving on gravel roads puts special demands on rally cars, which is why it is so important to prepare them properly.

The next competition is this Saturday, June 10.

It will be Aurskog-Holand Sprinten, another round of the Rally Cup consisting of 3 special stages run twice. The rally base, start and finish as well as the service area will be located in Bjorkelangen, and asphalt and gravel stages will be located within a radius of 20 kilometers from the base. The team encourages everyone to visit their website at Facebookwhere there are posts containing maps and the schedule of the competition. They will be helpful when planning your trip and choosing the best places to watch the competition on the route.

Bartholomew Voice:

- We are very excited about the next launch. The Aurskog-Holand Sprinten is a unique rally where the additional difficulty is the surface of the stages, which is half asphalt and half gravel. It is a challenge when it comes to setting up the car, choosing tires and during the drive itself, when you will have to quickly switch to a different level of grip. Therefore, despite a much shorter route than in the previous rally, this competition will be equally demanding.

Lukasz Michorczyk:

-We are still emotional after our debut in Rally Sorland, and in a moment we are getting back into the rally car. We ran the previous competition at a fairly safe pace, and now it's time to speed up a bit. However, it will not be easy because the Aurskog-Holand Sprinten routes are completely different than those we had to deal with in the south of the country. Variable surface, less winding, technical parts, but mainly quite fast corners require a different driving style.

To see what the routes looked like during the debut start and to be up to date with the team's adventures on rally routes, competitors encourage you to visit their YouTube channel.
