Another dead seal

Another dead seal was found on the shores of the Hel Peninsula. This is the third such case at the Polish seaside in the last few days. This time it was Helenka, who was released only two weeks ago. As reported by the employees of the seal center, the traces of injuries clearly indicate that the animal was killed by a human because it had a crushed skull. Importantly, Helenka was distrustful of people, which was a deliberate action of scientists and rehabilitators. The case has already been reported to the police. The employees of the seal center also ask for help from all persons who will help to clarify this matter.

Dead Act on the Institute of National Remembrance

The controversial amendment to the Act on the Institute of National Remembrance, under which Polish law enforcement agencies may initiate criminal proceedings against people who attribute crimes committed by Nazi Germany to Poles, has been in force for three months. 79 notifications about the possibility of committing a crime were received by the Chief Commission for the Prosecution of Crimes. However, prosecutors made decisions only in 10 cases. They all related to the refusal to initiate the proceedings.

This law doesn't work

The amendment introduced Art. 55a, which provides for the punishment of people who publicly and contrary to the facts, accuse the Polish nation of committing crimes committed by Nazi Germany. The loudest notification was made by the National Movement. They accused President Israel Reuven Ivin of committing the offense stated in this article. However, the prosecutor's office did not initiate any proceedings in this case.

Lech Wałęsa's grandson was making trouble

Last Friday, the police in Gdańsk detained three people who are suspected of robbing Swedish tourists. The incident occurred on May 21 in the center of Gdańsk. Three men attacked two Swedish citizens that day. One of them was robbed and he was taken to hospital with head injuries.

Among the detained people there is the grandson of Lech Wałęsa, former President of the Republic of Poland. However, this is unofficial information. The detainees were selected based on the descriptions provided by the victims, as well as on the basis of surveillance recordings and other evidence obtained in the case.
