The municipality of Oslo made an urgent decision to suspend all Rus' celebrations for a week.

The background to the decision is the surge in disease among Russians in recent days.

"Due to the rapid increase in infection among participants with large confusing networks that make it difficult to gain insight into the number of close contacts, we recommend that all celebrations be held for a week," said Frode Hagen's Chief Medical Officer in a press release.

8 June

The municipality of Oslo made the decision in consultation with the FHI. The decision is valid until Tuesday, June 8.

This means that the municipality wants all Russami activities in Oslo municipality to be halted for a week. This is true for both Oslo russ and visitors to russ from other municipalities, writes the municipality.

. Encourages testing

"It's important that everyone who has been to the parties test themselves, whether they're drunk or not," says Hagen.

Each participant of the events is already tested once a week at school and can take advantage of the drop-in at the test stations.

- They can now also test themselves with quick tests at all four Fever Clinics. In addition, all Oslo upper secondary schools will receive a self-test kit this week so that graduates, including the Russians, can test themselves whenever they want, continues the city overseer.
