In the world of international beard beauty competitions, Radosław Jobski, the current Norwegian champion and a lover of his reddish facial hair, recently won the title in the prestigious category at the first International Polish Championships. In a conversation with us, Radosław shares his experiences from the competition that took place in Łódź on February 24, his plans for the future and his reflections on what it means to be a "Red Beard" in Norway.

Thank you for taking the time to talk to us. Could you tell us more about the Polish Championships in which you took part?

Definitely. The competition took place in Łódź, at the Piwiarnia club, and it was a really great event. Bearded men came from all over the world - from Brazil, Sweden and even other exotic places. There were six categories, and I took part in the garibaldi category, i.e. beards up to 20 cm. It was my first International Polish Championship, and I must admit that the level was very high.

Why the interest in the competition in Poland, since you are the current Norwegian champion?

After winning in Norway, where I won the title in the Plus 20 category and in the main final, I decided to change the category to shorter beards. I wanted to see how I would do in another competition. It turned out that I could be the best here too, which was very nice for me. It's always worth trying something new and testing yourself in different situations.

.

What gave you victory in this competition?

I think that visualizing goals and believing in yourself played a big role. Before competitions, I always try to imagine my victory, which helps a lot in achieving success. Additionally, the support of my family and my barber who prepared my beard was invaluable. It all adds up to success.

I noticed you mentioned your future plans, including competing in Sweden and creating a community and your own cosmetics brand. Can you share more about this?

Yes, I plan to take part in competitions in Sweden and we are hosting American bearded men in Norway. I want to show that it's not only about the beard, but also about the values I represent. I also plan to set up a community for bearded men on social media and start producing cosmetics. I want my brand to be not only about beard care products, but also about building a community of people who want something more from life.

How are ginger bearded men perceived in Norway?

In Poland, redheads are sometimes negatively perceived, but in Norway it is a completely different story. Here, red means strength and power. I want to use this and show that the values we represent as bearded men matter all over the world. For me, this is another step towards creating a positive image of redheads and bearded people.

Thank you for the conversation. What message do you have for our readers?

It is important to never give up and always strive to achieve your dreams. Whether it's beard beauty contests or any other goal in life, it's important to have self-confidence and work towards your passions. And remember, regardless of the color of your beard or hair, each of us has the strength to achieve great things.
