Recently, plastic has become the main rival of many large companies that want to fight it. Unfortunately, it is a very great and at the same time dangerous enemy for our environment and the animals living in it.

Carlsberg and a new non-plastic can

Carlsberg is the largest brewer in Denmark and considered one of the largest in the world. The company decided to fight plastic and they want to completely abandon cans made of this material. A method that has been tested for a very long time, because as many as 40 types of glue have been tested during the research, consists in sticking cans together with a special substance, but so that the consumer does not have to struggle with it.

Plastic and its annual use

The company uses a very large amount of tons of plastic annually. Thanks to the new method, they will be able to reduce these sleepers by up to 75%, which will reduce the production of this material by 1,2 thousand tons per year.

Negative environmental impact

Plastic is one of the greatest and most dangerous enemies of the modern world, especially the inhabitants of all waters. The pioneers of the idea want to be the first brewing company in the world to introduce radical changes in the structure of beer cans and eliminate this negative material. Plastic beer holders are highly destructive, and many consumers throw them away after opening the drink, not paying attention to the consequences it causes for our environment.

When is the start?

The new canning method, where plastic will no longer play the main role, will start in the British market. If everything goes well and as planned, only then will the packaging go to other countries in the world. The specific date of the introduction of the new can is not yet known.
