AstraZeneca - conflict with the EU over the supply of vaccines!
The European Commission has started action against the vaccine group. She described her motives and the scope of activities at a special press conference.
“The commission launched legal proceedings against AstraZeneca last Friday. All 27 EU countries supported this step. The suit was filed before a Belgian court. AZ did not comply with part of the terms of the contract and was unable to develop a credible strategy to ensure the timely delivery of doses. We want to ensure the prompt delivery of the sufficient number of doses to which European citizens are entitled and that have been promised by contract.
