On Friday, more international passengers arrived at Torp Airport Sandefjord than there were at quarantine hotels. This resulted in people being sent straight home.

About one in three passengers who arrived at Torp on Friday were sent home instead of being quarantined at the hotel. In this way, 95 foreign tourists avoided hotel quarantine.

Lawyer against hotel quarantine:

Helge Morset's lawyer believes that persons fined for violating hotel quarantine should refuse to accept the ticket. Rather, they should hear the case in court.

- So far, I have seen that cases of violations of quarantine hotel regulations are rejected in the courts.

The lawyer heads the ad hoc committee of ICJ-Norway on COVID-19 Legislation. The ICJ is an independent international legal commission that works for human rights and the strengthening of fundamental rights and freedoms of the individual.
