Instagram and the "perfect" life that it often shows is even more often a lie and fiction. At the beginning of September, we all saw this for ourselves.
A scandal on Polish Instagram
In September, a shocking video was circulated on the Internet, showing the famous "Insta mom" Oliwia P. abusing her daughter. Screaming and a crying baby can be heard in the recording. Oliwia P. is a person who created the image of a perfect, beautiful, loving mother online. A mother who has time for her daughter and her husband, and always looks beautiful. Her Instagram account was followed by over 40 people. As it turned out, life was not as colorful and beautiful as the photos on her profile.

A call for help
At the very beginning, the story was completely different. Oliwia P. wrote quite a serious message on her Facebook account that her daughter had been kidnapped and her desperate mother was asking everyone for help. When other portals reacted and released the woman's message, the entry suddenly disappeared for unknown reasons. As it turned out later, the one-and-a-half-year-old daughter was with her father all this time. Mr. Mariusz, Oliwia P.'s husband announced that the child had not been kidnapped, but had been taken from the mother so that she would not abuse him again.
The woman blames her husband for everything
In an interview the woman gave to the ATTENTION program, she says that everything is her husband's fault. Oliwia P. claims that it was due to constant quarrels, insults thrown at her about poor child care, that she was ugly, neglected and because of her husband's lack of care for her daughter. All this was to lead to a tragedy that lasted 17 months. The woman and her husband, Mariusz, met on a website where young women advertise that they would like to meet a rich man. As she claims, "I told him at the very beginning that I was sick."
The skinniest Polish woman in the 9th month of pregnancy
Instagram makes us dream a lot. We constantly see the perfect life, beautiful photos that depict wonderful long journeys, delicious food, expensive clothes and much more. An idyll that everyone can envy. Oliwia P.'s husband says that he knew about his wife's problems and about his blind attitude to life on Instagram. The woman, suffering from bulimia, quickly became pregnant and her goal was not health, and she would become the skinniest Polish mother in the 9th month of pregnancy. When doctors recommended a diet, she built her community on Instagram because it was more important to her then.

A painful fall
Creating a perfect life, as you can see, is not that difficult. Behind this story lies, above all, the desire to be equal to others, the desire to prove that one is not inferior. “Insta mom” is a profession these days. Women and mothers earn money from their image, but also from the image of their child. Sometimes, as you can see, it is a big lie and is not true. The fall from such great popularity was painful for Oliwia P., but this story can be a warning for many of us.
