Acquaintance with Benjamin Franklin

He owes General Pulaski to the American army to Benjamin Franklin. It was he who wrote a letter recommending him, which was sent to George Washington himself. Its content was as follows: "Count Pulaski from Poland, an officer famous all over Europe for his courage and his actions while defending the country's freedom against major powers: Russia, Austria and Prussia, may be of use in our service."

He saved the life of George Washington

The first fight and contact with the enemy that Kazimierz Pułaski suffered took place on September 11 on the Brandywine River. Additionally, an important news from this historic moment is the fact that at that time George Washington's life was saved by Pulaski himself. The rescue was due to the chief's warning against the approaching enemies. It was for these merits that he was awarded the rank of Brigadier General.

The slogan "Pulaski". response "Poland"

236 years ago, General Pulaski fought his last battle. It took place on October 9, 1779. It was the Battle of Savannah, in a city in the state of Georgia.
