The action in the forest on the Lax canal was preceded by the sight of two suspicious cars in Nipedalsvatnet. It is possible that the kidnappers may have already fled the city.
Police officers stopped all cars in Nipedalen this morning as part of an action. One of the drivers admitted that the suspect man tried to break into his truck. His suspicion was aroused by the fact that the would-be passenger had no shoes on his feet.
