The co-ruling party in Oslo, the Green Party, proposed quite a shocking change. Residents of the capital will be able to use free transport all year round and free car rental? As? All they have to do is get rid of their car.
Free communication and car rental
The Green Party is a co-ruling party in Oslo that wants to protect the environment with its actions. Their new proposal may shock you, but also fill you with great optimism and hope. Party members want to offer the residents of the capital free communication and free car rental. All this in return for scrapping or selling your vehicle. The decision will be made in March
The Green Party's proposal was submitted to the program committee in Oslo. The decision to accept or reject it will not be made until March. However, even though it has only just been reported, it has its opponents. It turns out that the proposal was not well received by the Progress Party, which, let us remind you, sits in the new Norwegian government as one of the four parties.

MMF believes that the Community Car Sharing/Rental system in Norway is unprofitable and not worth it invest in it. Additionally, if the proposal was accepted, parking costs in the city would have to be reduced, and the Green Party would certainly not like this. Ultimately, Frp believes that the party that came up with this initiative should focus more on improving the quality of urban transport in Oslo, because it is lagging and not very well received by the inhabitants of the Norwegian capital. In particular, the most criticized are ticket prices, which according to most people are too high.
