Taxes 2019 - what and when do you need to submit your tax settlement in Norway?

Each year brings many changes, especially tax changes. We often forget about deadlines that are important to us, which may turn out to be crucial when planning a settlement in the Norwegian tax office. Below are the most important dates for the tax settlement:

15 February - the date of receipt of the annual invoice from all your employers, otherwise known as arsoppgaver

1 March - the deadline by which you must register in the Altinn electronic tax settlement system

4 April - the date on which the Tax Office begins the shipment of paper settlements, but also the date of receipt of the skattemeldingen by taxpayers electronically

April 30 – deadline by which it must be submitted tax settlement for 2018

31 May - the date by which the tax return for 2018 should be submitted if we are in the group of people who, for some reason, could not do it by 30.04. In the first place, an appropriate application should be submitted

June 20 - The Tax Office approves the settlements submitted by taxpayers for 2018

16 Grudnia - date of sending tax cards by the US for the year 2020

When will the Tax Office send? tax refund? This will be June, August, October

Many experts recommend that those who are required to settle accounts should not wait until April 30. As every year, many people will have problems with completing numerous documents, which sometimes have to be waited for, and this causes us unnecessary stress.
