Unfortunately, the mood of conflict between the state and the educational community does not concern only Poland. A strike is also "hanging in the air" in Norway. It is scheduled to take place next Friday, May 24, 2019. Talks have been going on for a long time. The latest negotiations between the Unio trade unions and the KS organization bringing together municipal employers, taking place under the supervision of the State Mediator (riksmekleren), will probably not bring results.
Teachers in Norway: "we want pay raises!"
There was a proposal for a rise by 3.03 percent. Teachers do not agree with this state of affairs. As an argument, they swap the fact that representatives of other professions operating in the municipal sector can count on a 3.25 percent increase. Such discrepancies are unacceptable - teachers demand equal rights.

What about school exams?
Among others, primary and secondary schools are to take part in the strike. For this reason, school exams are a big question mark. As many as 7000 teachers can take part in the strike.
