An unusual event occurred a few days ago on Facebook. A 21-year-old Kiwi store employee expressed her opinion on how grocery store employees are treated. She opposed assessing store employees negatively just because of the work they do. In her post, the 21-year-old emphasized that she loves her job and does it with full commitment.

We ignore store workers

The 21-year-old's post met with many reactions. It gained nearly 4000 likes and was shared almost 400 times. What's more, the opinion expressed by an employee of the store was shared by many internet users. Only positive opinions appeared under the post. Lise Nebb Frones, because she is the author of the post, feels proud of herself. The Norwegian media became very quickly interested in the post. It is no wonder - the store's employee hit the Norwegian's most sensitive point.

Personal culture is very important

You cannot ignore or simply disrespect those who work on the cash register. It is the same job as any other. Store employees try to be nice and smiling to customers. Meanwhile, according to Nille CEO Kjersti Hobol, customers are disrespecting store employees. Very often, when they come to the cash register, they don't even say "good morning". They are often busy talking on the phone or writing text messages and seem to be completely oblivious to cashiers. Meanwhile, it is thanks to them that they are able to make purchases in the selected store. The post of 21-year-old Lise criticized this behavior very strongly.

Fight against stereotypes

Many people believe that working at the cash register in a store is something worse. This is probably where the lack of respect for store employees comes from. People appreciate and respect educated and studying people. There is an unfair belief that store employees are uneducated and do their job "because they haven't been given another job." Meanwhile, the truth is completely different. In her Facebook post, Lisa emphasized that she uses the knowledge she gained during her studies to perform her work. Moreover, she wrote that working at the cash register in a store gives her a lot of satisfaction.
