The cause of the accident, according to the preliminary findings of the police, was a truck driving directly under the running train. It is not known why the truck driver did this. The passengers of the train were not hurt in this accident. The truck driver who died on the spot was killed.

The semi-trailer, together with the load, was thrown to the side of the railway tracks.
