Nevertheless, cinemas, theaters, and cultural institutions try to come back to life as soon as they can. It turns out that despite the crisis, really interesting and interesting titles are released on the screens of Polish cinemas. How to become a star - the whole truth about the "talent show"

The director of this new Polish production, Anna Wieczur-Bluszcz raised a very important topic that has been present in our reality for several years. Talent-shows. For many years, such projects related to singing and dancing have been created. Jury respected in the world of culture, performances in many different models (singing + stage performance), voting of viewers for this one, unique star. Unfortunately, these types of programs are not only light, but also shadows.

Controversial TV program "Music Race" is looking for musical talents throughout Poland. About this, before Kim all doors will open, and who will get a bucket of cold water on their head will be decided by a unique jury: the once popular singer Olo (Maciej Zazdrowieny), the queen of social media Ewa (Julia Kamińska) and the first lady of Polish jazz - Urszula Dudziak, playing herself. A brawl breaks out at the casting, which takes place in Ola's hometown. This is brought about by Ostra (Katarzyna Sawczuk) - a rebellious teenager, outraged by the arrogance of the juror who behaves disrespectfully towards the girl's mother (Anita Sokołowska). The scandal benefits the producer (Tomasz Karolak), which decides whether Ostra will qualify for the next stage of the show. It will soon turn out that in addition to her explosive temperament, the girl also has an amazing voice. However, success has its price, and popularity is not as pleasant as it may seem. The teenager will face a real duel and a test of character - the young star will have to face her competitors on stage and the ruthless world of show business, but above all, her own emotions. A light comedy for difficult times ...

"How to Become a Star and Stay Yourself" is a light, funny comedy of manners. Great music. Good old hits. Do you need anything more? Such images we need it now - in this difficult, difficult time. Sometimes it's funny, sometimes it's moving... It's worth mentioning that the film features an all-star cast. Anita Sokołowka, Maciej Zazdrowieny, Katarzyna Sawczuk, Julia Kamińska, Tomasz Karolak.
