On October 1, new regulations came into force regarding the possibility of not having a registration certificate and a third party liability policy while driving a vehicle. As it turns out, the driving license will not do without changes.
New driving license from March 2019
The Ministry of Infrastructure is preparing a new model driving license. The judgment of the Constitutional Tribunal on the amendment to the ordinance of specimen documents is to enter into force in March 2019. Even then, our driving license will not have information about the address of our residence.

Record mismatch
The Constitutional Tribunal found that one of the provisions of the Act on vehicle drivers is inconsistent with the Constitution. This is where the decision to remove the whereabouts information from the driver's license was made. The reason for these inconsistencies was the fee that drivers have so far paid for the replacement of the driving license in the event of a change of data, e.g. street, which was issued by the local government.
No changes so far
Of course, at present drivers still have to enter the address of residence of the person who owns the document in the driver's license. In addition, it should be remembered that if we currently change our address and the driving license is issued with the new address, then we have 30 days to report the situation to the staroste.
Eligibility confirmation
As it turns out, the Constitutional Tribunal stated that a driving license document is only legal information that a given person actually has the right to drive a vehicle. They decided that in such a situation the information about the driver's address was not really needed.
Advantages only
The change to be introduced in March 2019 is to bring many benefits for the state because it will reduce the costs of obtaining and maintaining a driving license, citizens will not feel obliged to constantly change data, so their comfort will increase and communication departments will be relieved. It must be remembered that if we obtain a driving license before the change, then it is valid according to the date on the document.
