Nowadays, when we have a big "boom" to eating healthy food, this product has not been spared either. Milk and the number of types available on store shelves can be frightening. So which ones should we reach for?

Milk - only health!

It cannot be denied that it is the most popular drink among the people. Everyone knows him, especially children. Milk strengthens our bones and teeth, and has many nutrients that are supplied to our body. However, it should be remembered that the amount and type of these values ​​always depend on the type of milk.

Known to everyone- cow's milk

Cow's milk is the most popular type of milk. It is the richest source of calcium that is easily absorbed by our body. People who drink cow's milk absorb as much as 80% of this element. It contains many values ​​and vitamins such as phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, zinc, iodine, fluorine, vitamins A and K. It is a rich source of carbohydrates.

Plant-based soy milk

It is nothing but a mixture of ripe soybeans, natural sweetener and water. Recommended for people complaining of lactose intolerance. Usually it has a low amount of saturated fat, and people who are afraid of increased amounts of cholesterol can go for this type of milk because it is cholesterol-free. Unfortunately, soy milk does not have as much protein as cow's milk.

Almond milk

This type of milk is made from roasted almonds. Unfortunately, it is often sweetened. It contains many nutritional values, which is enriched with, for example, calcium, vitamin D and E. People who are lactose intolerant and are afraid of cholesterol levels can confidently reach for almond milk. Just like soy milk does not provide us with very much protein.

Rice milk

It is a drink that is made from ground rice and water. On store shelves, we can find many flavors of this type of milk, ranging from chocolate to strawberry. It is very low in protein, but as the only one of all the milk mentioned here, it is 100% recommended for people with lactose intolerance because it carries the lowest risk of allergies.
