COVID-19 negative test certificate
• Foreigners who arrive in Norway from an area subject to quarantine must provide a coronavirus test negative certificate. The certificate must not be dated more than 72 hours ago for you to enter Norway.
• The certificate must be written in Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, English, French or German.
• The certificate must present a validated test method - PCR or Rapid Antigen Test
Mandatory quarantine for 10 days
• Foreign workers who come from countries or regions with particularly high levels of infection. And people residing in Norway who worked or were posted in these countries. They must be quarantined for 10 days before they can start working. Everyone should pass the test, however, a negative test will not shorten the quarantine.
• Foreign workers from other EEA countries and Switzerland and people living in Norway who were working or on assignment in these countries. They should be quarantined until a negative result is obtained. They can start work after the first negative test performed in Norway. This person must be tested every three days for 10 days. Must be quarantined in the spare time after work, for 10 days after arrival. Must live in a private room during quarantine. (NO this applies to people residing in Norway or coming from work or assignments performed in the EEA or Switzerland)
How to quarantine
• People under the entry quarantine may stay away from their place of residence only if they have such an opportunity. Avoid close contact with anyone other than those you live with.
• Quarantined people are not allowed in the workplace where there are also others, school or kindergarten.
• It is forbidden to use public transport, except to and from the airport, port, etc. Only to the destination.

Commuters and frequent border crossers.
• There are separate rules for medical personnel commuting from Sweden or Finland and for other employees. Those who cross the border of Norway. More than once in 10 days from quarantined areas in Sweden or Finland.
Testing
• The employer must arrange and pay for the tests as well as arrange them. Workers may stay at least 1 meter away from others.
• People who become ill should isolate themselves and see a doctor immediately.
