On Tuesday, Labor Party leader Jonas Gahr Støre will meet with the party leadership and central management to discuss the path to a new government. Then he will talk to the leader of the SP.

After 99,7% of the votes are counted, it is clear that Ap, Sp and SV will get the majority in the Storting with 89 seats.

- Now I will talk to my own party - the party leadership and management. Then, natural for the promises I make, we start with the Center Party, which is the largest party. So SV, and then we'll talk to Rød and MDG, Støre told NTB Tuesday night.

The party leader believes that all parties must first make a separate summary.

- We now have a great responsibility: we have won a large majority. There are choices to be made. But I think everyone must feel this responsibility. We will have a good foundation for the new government and then we have to face the problems that await us, said Støre.

At the same time, he said that the talks had not yet started.

- We strongly agree that we should rest now. And I think all party leaders go to their parties with satisfaction, summing up and paving the way.

. A decline, but better than forecasts indicated

After counting 99,7 percent. of all votes, the Labor Party received 26,4 percent. This is a 1 percentage point drop compared to the elections four years ago, but much better than what the party had in many polls.

Both the SV and the Labor Party have central management meetings on Tuesday at 14.00pm, reports NRK .
