- The polling station at Kastellet school closed today at 17.30:XNUMX PM on Monday after a fire in the fuse box upstairs. The Kastellet fire station is adjacent, the fire brigade quickly appeared on the scene. The ballots, voters and the election staff have been evacuated, says Oslo election communications manager Ingvild Åsgård.

As early as 19.30 pm, Sanner says that it will not be a surprise if conservatives, liberals and Christian Democrats return in this year's elections.

- In retrospect, we can see that the parties often hold power in the government for four, maximum eight years. Therefore, it will not be unusual if there is a change of government after such a long mandate, says Sanner. The finance minister emphasizes that what matters is the final result of the elections.

MDG Une leader Aina Bastholm hopes the party will break the threshold and move closer to 5 percent. She says she has butterflies in her stomach before the election.

Party secretary Benedikte Pryneid Hansen is optimistic and also hopes Rødt will break the election barrier.

- We are very excited. We are positive and the polls are optimistic, but we wait until we see the final result.

Elections in Norway, change of government is almost certain

Prime Minister Erna Solberg (H) used the last hours before the closing of polling stations to wash clothes.

This was reported by her secretary, Rune Alstadsæter, while waiting at the Radisson Hotel on Holberg plass in the center of Oslo.

- I spoke to her an hour ago. She then washed her clothes and looked through the mail that we did not read during the trip, says Alstadsæter.

"Most of us who traveled in the election campaign have almost no clean clothes left with us," he added.

Today, on Monday, September 13.09 after 21 p.m. we will find out what the Norwegian government will look like for the next 4 years
