He has had two previous district court judgments to his credit.

During questioning, he pleaded guilty to the circumstances in which he was accused. Bråther's defense attorney Fredrik Neumann says his client is working with the police and explaining the incidents in detail.

In July 2020, the 37-year-old was placed under a six-month restraining order at Kongsberg and Eiker County Court after he threatened the family. In May of that year, he broke into and threatened his parents' home. He left a 4,5mm Calt revolver on his parents' sofa before he left. The revolver looked like a functional weapon.

Judged by experts on Thursday

Police lawyer Ann Irén Svane Mathiassen of the South East Police District confirms that the 37-year-old will be examined by forensic psychiatric experts. According to the police prosecutor, the work will start on Thursday.

In 2012, a man was sentenced to a suspended two-year suspended sentence of 60 days for theft and drug use.

According to the verdict, he broke into the Norwegian Mining Museum one night in May of the same year, breaking a window. That same evening he bought two grams of hash in downtown Kongsberg.

Kongsberg County Court confirms that he had previously been convicted of similar offenses, but that it was so long ago that other sentences were not affected.
