The government will introduce quarantine requirements on entry from Greenland, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, the Czech Republic and Zealand in Denmark.
Ministry of Health and Healthcare states that the entry quarantine only applies to travelers from red, dark red, purple and gray countries, who do not have a valid, verifiable vaccination certificate.
This is reflected in government changes to entry rules for countries and areas.
The following countries in Europe are still red or dark red and subject to entry quarantine: Belgium, Greece, Cyprus, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Germany, Hungary and Austria are red, while the dark red countries are Bulgaria (changed from red), Estonia, Ireland (changed from red), Croatia (changed from red), Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia (changed from red), Slovenia and the United Kingdom
In the Scandinavian countries, entry is quarantined for entry from the regions of Norrbotten, Stockholm and Västmanland.
Denmark - this includes Sjælland and the capital (Copenhagen). In Finland, there are still entry quarantines in the regions. Egentliga Finlands, Helsingfors och Nylands, Mellersta Finlands, Mellersta Österbottens, Norra Savolax, Norra Österbottens, Päijat-Häme og Syd-Österbottens.
Children and youth under 18 years of age are exempt from entry quarantine regardless of where they come from.
