The municipality of Sirdal in Agder will give 3000 crowns to each resident when the electricity price is extremely high.

Extreme electricity prices and warnings of sustained high electricity prices in the future mean we are now taking local action, tells the newspaper Agder mayor Jonny Liland.

Monetary support to the electricity bill

The Sirdal Labor Party won a majority for this proposal. This means that NOK 3 is allocated for each resident who is registered in Sirdal from 3 December.
