As a result of the storm, all air traffic on Flesland in Bergen will be halted, Avinor Dagbladet reports.

- We are dealing with technical challenges in the wake of the storm and air traffic stoppage as a safety measure, informs the press daily Anna Langhammer in Avinor.

Langhammer stresses safety is top priority at all Avinor airports.

The storm created challenges for several planes due to land in Bergen on Sunday night. Two planes were diverted to other airports.

According to TV 2, all air traffic will also be stopped at Stavanger's Sola Airport

We are following this closely, says spokesman Anna Langhammer of Avinor to TV 2 about the stopping of air traffic in Stavanger.
