"I have you in my dreams" is a romantic and touching song. It refers to what has passed and fades with time, but returns in dreams. Memories of family home, youth, love and beautiful moments with loved ones who are somewhere far away from us or who are no longer there ... "I have you in my dreams" touches the heart. It is worth succumbing to this emotion. The beautiful periods of our lives that pass over time create space for good new days.
This dreaming backwards to the past is symbolized in the song by the receding instrumental passage just before the second verse. On the other hand, the symbolic place where dreams are taken from the protagonist is symbolized by a musical fragment after the second chorus with a very personal motif of the composer.
The song was written by the Baltic Sea, where I have been living since I was born - says Sławomir Łosowski. - At the beginning and end of the song, I recorded the sound of the sea and short solos. These sounds illustrate one night I spent on the beach in Jurata, when just before dawn, I was roused from my deep sleep, in which I dreamed a lot, the increased sound of the sea, and a huge fiery ball of the sun was emerging from behind the sea horizon. The weather conditions were then exceptional, starry sky, zero clouds and fog. The sight was so beautiful that my delight remains in my heart to this day and I expressed it in this song.
The sunrise hidden in the sounds of "I have you in my dreams" can be read as the hope that what we love never gets lost.
