– Stavanger has a long and strong tradition of volunteering. Many are making a very important voluntary effort, in teams, associations and other ways. So it's nice to be able to give something back as a thank you for your commitment, says Deputy Mayor Dagny Sunnanå Hausken.

– We are approaching the end of the Year of Volunteering 2022, in which we celebrated the most important teamwork in Norway. At the same time, we know that many members and volunteers in teams and organizations have resigned during the pandemic. Now it's time for everyone to come back. Fantastic work is being done here to rebuild a good culture, says Sunnanå Hausken.

Good crime comedy!

As the first theater in Norway, Rogaland Teater can proudly present the West End success of The Art of Bank Robbery. It's a comedy about a bank robbery.

So we find ourselves in Minneapolis of the 1958s, or more precisely, XNUMX, in a seemingly small-town American idyll. Minneapolis City Bank, a shockingly bad bank run by bumbling bank manager Robbe Tremann, has been tasked with storing the Hungarian prince's most valuable diamond for unknown reasons.

When the prison bird Mitch finds out, he immediately gets to work planning the big heist. With the help of his (former) mistress, the daughter of a bank director and a prison officer, he implements his ambitious plan. But in a city full of petty thugs who range in villain levels and where the most honorable cannot be trusted, the big question comes to the fore: who ultimately gets away with the diamond? Because is Mitch's plan perfect? Can he trust his co-conspirators? Will he succeed at all? Read more about the show here.
