Postal deliveries have not become forgotten. Only their form has changed - most often they are parcels sent from online stores to customers or complaint returns. Taking into account the changing needs in the use of postal services, Norge Posten launched a new project on April 16. Its aim is to enable you to send parcels and letters without leaving your home.

Digitalt Frimerke

The first convenience that makes it easier to use postal services is the ability to purchasing a postage stamp online. This is done through the service Digitalt Frimerke. All you need to do is complete the order form, in which we specify the following issues:

- shipment thickness (range from 0,1 to over 7 cm)

- parcel weight (in the range from 0,1 g to 2000 g)

- the number of shipments sent (max. 9 for one order)

After filling in the required fields, it follows wybór how to send the parcel and proceed to payment. After posting, the customer receives a code that is equivalent to a postage stamp. It should be entered in the upper right corner of the envelope. The parcel prepared in this way is ready to be addressed and sent.

Send the package in your own mailbox

There are currently two ways of sending a postal item. The first one is standard and not is changing for years - however, it requires leaving home to the nearest post office. The second method was launched on April 16 and operates under the name sende fraegen postkasse. All you need to do is order a postman via the website (this can be done when purchasing a postage stamp online), who will collect the parcel from boxes by post the next business day. This offer is dedicated to all those who value their own time and do not have enough time to send a parcel to the nearest post office.

Great start after the testing period

It is worth mentioning that this type of services were tested in 2017. Initially, 10 people could use them. households, and in Mark In 2018, Tise was allowed to conduct a trial of this service. After receiving positive reviews, Norge Posten decided to permanently introduce both services to your offer.

What do Norwegians usually ship?

According to the president of the Norwegian post office, postal services have not gone out of fashion. Only the form of shipments sent has changed. In the era of the development of e-mail, these are no longer traditional letters, although there are also greeting cards and small gifts for grandma. However, postal parcels from online stores and customer complaints of purchased products have a significant share.

As you can see, Norge Posten keeps up with the times. The fast pace of life causes the importance of traditional postal services to decline firm courier services. By using the "postman order" concept, Norge Posten hopes to increase share of their services on the market shipments. From April 16, customers can send it without leaving home. All formalities are completed via a dedicated website, thanks to which you can purchase at the same time stamps, and report the fact that the parcel is already waiting for the postman in the mailbox.
