Yesterday, on June 12, a unique facility was opened - the Polish Vodka Museum in Warsaw. The institution is located at 1 Konesera Square in Warsaw in a XNUMXth-century building. The location is not accidental - it is here that the "Koneser" Warsaw Vodka Factory was located. It was one of the most recognizable producers of this drink in the world.

As Andrzej Szumowski, President of the Foundation's Management Board, emphasizes Polish Vodka – every Pole should know the history of this most famous Polish alcohol. “Polish Vodka is inseparably connected with our culture and customs. Like French Cognac or Scotch Whiskey, it has been entered on the list of Protected Geographical Indications and for many years has been one of our most important export products, valued for its taste and quality all over the world. We want the Polish Vodka Museum to provide knowledge about its centuries-old history, tradition and the method of production. On the other hand, during educational workshops, we will show, among others what differences may exist in the flavors and aromas of Polish Vodkas produced from several traditional types of cereals and potatoes. Sightseeing and tasting
In addition to the exhibits and the opportunity to learn about the history of vodka and its cultural significance, it is possible to taste various types of this alcohol. All this is available at the Vodka Academy Bar. You can also take advantage of the workshop offer, the purpose of which is to learn about the principles of serving and combining vodka with various dishes. On the third and fourth floors, guests can use the elegant "3/4" bar to try unique cocktails based on Polish vodka. Additionally, there is a WuWu bistro which can be used 24 hours a day. Right next to the Museum, there is the Wedel Chocolate Lounge, which will sweeten the palate of tourists.
