The Norwegian app "Kahoot" is a learning and fun tool. The idea of its creation turned out to be a gold vein. Its main investor earned NOK 280 million on his own!
"Kahoot" as a goldmine
Users of the "Kahoot" application have the option to create their own quizzes, which can later be used by other people. The tool has been operating since September 2013, although it was in 2017 that it reached 50 million monthly active users. Its value in 2018 was USD 300 million. The app's investor, Jan Haudemann-Andersen, believes that this is a very good investment from the point of view of where it is currently located.

Kahoot encourages fun and creativity
The application enjoys the greatest success, especially in the USA. Actually, why is it attracting so much attention and interest? The tool primarily awakens in us the amount of creativity that is necessary to create your own quiz. Nevertheless, it also builds a lot of commitment during many social events. A very large number of teachers began to use "Kahoot" in school activities.

From 1 billion to 3 billion NOK!
There is no denying that the application was a great success, especially financial. It appeared on the market in 2013, but since May 2018 its value has increased threefold! From the initial number of 1 billion, today its value is estimated at NOK 3 billion! Jan Haudemann-Andersen, who is its largest investor, also holds the largest share in "Kahoot", as much as 14,3%. The value of its shares also increases as the company's value increases. It is currently estimated that Andersen has earned $280 from the app million NOK.
"Kahoot" and Microsoft
Microsoft also joined the company's ranks in March. The technology giant owned by Bill Gates owns 6% of shares and is currently among the company's five largest investors. The well-known investors also include the company Disney, which from the beginning of cooperation with "Kahoot" earned as much as 100 million crowns on the application. This is a very large profit considering that Disney owns only 4% of shares in the company, which still allows them to be called one of the company's largest investors.
